Coach David Coleman

David Coleman who has over 15 years of coaching experience at the youth level is the head coach of the Louisiana Blue Claw baseball team. David coached in the Paducah, Kentucky Storm baseball organization which is a nationally recognized youth baseball program. The Storm program has produced two National titles and has had twenty-one players drafted by professional baseball organizations. During his tenure, the Paducah Storm claimed one National title and participated in the World Series in Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, and Tennessee. The Storm was honored in 2002 at Wyoming and in 2006 at Mississippi with team sportsmanship awards in the 13U National Baseball Congress World Series.  The 2008 12U Louisiana Blue Claws were honored as well with the team sportsmanship award at the 12U National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kansas. 

Coach Simon Zalman

Simon Zalman has over 15 years of coaching experience at the youth level with age groups ranging from 7 to 19 years. In 2004, Coach Z was a member of the coaching staff and team that won the 17-19 year old Dixie Louisiana State Championship and advanced to the Dixie World Series. Married to Sandy and father of two career developing sons, Coach Z is passionate about the game of baseball and loves working with youth to advance their technical skills as well as develop into responsible adults.

Coach Z will be working with Coach David to develop both our 12U Blue BlueClaws in 2012.

Coach Tim Hall

Coach Tim has over 20 years of coaching young athletes in  football and baseball aging from youth baseball  to high school.   Tim began coaching baseball with 13/14 Dixie Boys, worked his way through all ages of youth baseball and is in his fourth year helping the BlueClaws. 

Married to Liz and father of three (3), Tim is the business manager for the Blue Claw Baseball organization and is committed to providing young men with an environment that teaches them the values of work, dedication and sportsmanship. 

Coach Tim will be leading our 12U Red BlueClaws in 2012

Tim Aguillard has been involved with the game of baseball over the past three decades as a player, umpire and coach. Tim has spent the last eight years teaching and coaching the game to youth in the Moss Bluff area. Tim will be leading our 11U BlueClaws this year.

Tim is a firm believer that organized sports helps further the total development of children in their journey to adulthood. He is committed to teaching his players the fundamentals of the game with emphasis added to dedication, hard work, sacrifice and team player concepts.

Coach Tim Aguillard

BLUE CLAW BASEBALL teaches the fundamentals and principles of the game in a manner that promotes sportsmanship, discipline, work ethic, and character so that each player can achieve success both on and off the field regardless of their chosen path in life.

Mike has over 20 years of coaching Youth Baseball, 13-14 year olds, 17-18 year olds, T-Ball and Pitching Machine Leagues. While coaching in the 17-18 year old Dixie Majors Program, Mike guided teams to 6 District Championships and 1 State Title. Mike was also non faculty coached at Sam Houston High School during the 2001 season in which the first ever State Championship was won. Mike coached the 2003 Louisiana Based Team that won the National Championship in the Dixie Majors Showcase Tournament in Montgomery, Alabama.

Mike prepped at Sam Houston High School earning All-State Honors as a Pitcher and went on to play at Alvin Community College in Alvin, Texas on a baseball scholarship. Mike is married to the former Karen Guillotte and they have 2 children and 1 grandchild.
